Standard Operating Procedures for the Initial Cleaning and Maintenance of Cleanrooms

1. Requirements for Cleaning Staff:
A. Possess basic cleaning knowledge and skills and have received corresponding training;
B. Good health, free from infectious diseases and allergic diseases;
C. Understand the special requirements of cleanrooms and be able to use the cleaning equipment and tools in cleanrooms correctly;
D. Adhere to the operating procedures of the cleanroom and strictly follow the corresponding cleaning processes;
E. Regularly undergo health check-ups and promptly report any abnormal conditions.
2. Cleaning Equipment and Tools:
A. Air purification equipment, such as high-efficiency filters and air sterilizers, is used to ensure the purification of air in clean rooms;
B. Specialized vacuum cleaners that can effectively remove dust from the ground and equipment surfaces;
C. Non-woven fabric wiping cloths and cleanroom-specific mops, used for wiping floors and walls;
D. Dust collectors are used to remove particles and bacteria from the air.
Note: The tools and materials used must not have broken wires, rust, peeling, be easy to clean, resistant to organic solvents, soft, have good water absorption and be not prone to mold. The commonly used cleaning water is pure water.
3. Cleaning Process
A: Cleaning of floor deck slabs and ceiling beams
① Clean the dust with a lint-free cloth
② Clean the beams and ceiling bolts with a pure water lint-free cloth. For areas that are out of reach by hand, wipe them with a mop and pure water more than once.
Key points: Take a bucket filled with pure water to the ceiling, moisten it with a lint-free cloth, wring it out and wipe it clean. Do not leave any marks on the beam
B: Cleaning of equipment and machines on the floor deck and ceiling
① Remove all the protective films and clean up the accumulated dust with a lint-free cloth
② Use a pure water lint-free cloth to clean the piping, pipelines, cable trays and other areas that are out of reach by hand. Wipe them with a mop and pure water at least once.
Key points: Take a bucket filled with pure water to the ceiling, moisten it with a lint-free cloth, wring it out and wipe it. Do not leave any marks on the piping and other surfaces
C: Cleaning of floor deck and ceiling
① Clean up the garbage, mop the ⇒ floor deck and ceiling with pure water. Bring a bucket of pure water into the ceiling, wet a lint-free cloth, wring it dry and scrub it on the ceiling without leaving any marks
D: Cleaning of equipment and machinery under the floor deck and ceiling
① Remove all protective films and wipe the parts that come into contact with electrical machinery with a dry and lint-free cloth
② Other piping, pipelines, cable trays, etc. should be wiped and cleaned with pure water
E: Floor cleaning
The operation sequence is as follows: First, remove the protective film ⇒. Use a sweeper to clean up the garbage, then clean it with a dust-free mop ⇒. Use pure water to wipe and clean the floor (for strong stains, use a spray to deal with them)⇒. Dry
② The column valves should be wiped with water, and the aluminum honeycomb panels on the walls should be cleaned by wiping.
Note: Be sure to separate the work area from the cleaning area
4. Safety Measures
A. Cleaning staff must wear special work clothes and shoes for clean rooms.
B. Before entering the clean room, it is necessary to clean the body, including washing hands and wearing masks, etc.
C. Cleaning staff should always pay attention to their own hygiene to reduce pollution to the clean room environment.
D. Comply with the relevant safety regulations of the clean room, such as prohibiting smoking and drinking beverages, etc.
5. Regular Inspection
A. Cleanroom cleaning management personnel regularly inspect and evaluate the cleaning work to ensure the quality of the cleaning work.
B. Provide regular training for cleaning staff to enhance their cleaning skills and knowledge;
C. Adjust and improve the cleaning plan based on the actual situation to meet the requirements of the clean room.
